A nice example of letting the dynamic of the lettering play together with the music. I love when different artforms can play together. And, this is also a study in excellent skills working together, both the piano player, the pen master and the video effects maker.
I like this one because of the size and crazy effort of making these artworks. The tools he uses may do well as calligraphy brushes as well. Look up his website www.andresamador.net to see a lot of examples. Some of them are huge, and very precisely designed. I think I will try sandlettering this summer!
This example impresses me by the speed and precision in which the calligraphy is performed. The artist has a steady hand, although his working position is not the best.
An excellent example of livelettering! The shape of the letters and the 'tension' of the strokes are all a direct and natural consequence of how the brush hits the surface and of how the artist moves his body while creating the piece. Really really basic, no computer support!
